| Automating Photoshop Photoshop actions provide automation for the Fovea Pro plug-ins. All values and options entered into dialog boxes are saved and can either be played back interactively or with complete automation. This allows setting up function keys for frequently used sequences, recording the history for a procedure, and batch processing of folders of images. Actions can saved to disk, and can be nested and called as subroutines by other actions. Automatic data logging In FoveaPro 4 it is now not only possible to automatically log in a text file (or even switch between multiple log files) the results from all measurement operations, but to record the file names of the images upon which the operations occured. The data is formatted to make it selecting columns simple in common spreadsheet programs such as Excel®. In fact, the graphs and data tables that appear in dialogs are also recorded as an HTML page so you can easily bring the graphics into your own documents.
