FoveaPro Surface Analysis |
| Working with surface images | | Many scanned probe microscopes like the AFM and the STM produce images with 16 bits of dynamic range. Fovea Pro includes conversion utilities to read many of these files with full precision and implements international standards for surface measurement. Fovea Pro has extensive tools for surface measurement and display, including much more flexible and realistic Phong rendering and perspective-corrected visualization tools than those provided with most microscopes. Creating stereo anaglyph images like this microfossil is automated. Elevation data measured from the stereo pair and rendered as a perspective-corrected isometric display. Surface reconstruction using elevation data and surface shading, shown as an anaglyph stereo pair. Next: Automation Prev: Image Measurement Up: Fovea Pro |
