FoveaPro Image Morphology |
| Processing binary and greyscale images | | Morphological operations are typically performed on images after thresholding to a binary (black and white) image. Fovea Pro includes a complete set of binary and greyscale morphological operators. A few illustrative examples are shown here. Erosion, dilation, closings and openings based on the Euclidean distance map are faster and more accurate than traditional iterative methods. Skeletonization finds the midlines of features, and facilitates topological measurement by marking and counting branch and end points. Fovea Pro includes the most accurate watershed routine on the market to separate touching features for measurement. Next: Image Measurement Prev: Principal Components Analysis Up: Fovea Pro |
