FoveaPro 4.0 Features
What's new in Fovea Pro 4:
  • OS X native operation - All the plug-ins are now Carbon-based on the Macintosh, and will work natively under OS X 10.2 or later

  • Menu Simplification - Many of the menu entries have been renamed for clarity and a number of plugins have been combined with new previews for easier navigation.

  • Larger previews added for many processing operations - including variance, texture, range, blend, and local equalization, etc.

  • New Thresholding Functions - All of the thresholding functions have been rewritten with larger dialogs but also the ability to zoom in and out. The histograms are now 512 wide to permit finer precision with both manual and automatic thresholding methods.

  • Faster Skeletonization and Feature Measurement - 2x improvement over FoveaPro 3

  • Point-intercept method - Added support for a new stereological method, point-intercept sampling

  • Weiner deconvolution - When deconvolving any image, both a preview and the point-spread function are shown along with an adjustable Wiener K-value to prevent noise from corrupting the deconvolved image

  • More support for Photoshop Actions and Scripts - Enhanced support for dialog-less operation has been added to several plug-ins, including Calibrate Magnification and Threshold HSI.

  • HTML Logging - All dialogs that report numbers and graphics also log into an HTML file. This makes it much easier to use graphs within your own reports and to access to measurement data.

  • Rewritten and clarified tutorial - Our comprehensive tutorial has been rewritten to make it easy to follow
